On 16 November, the Municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa, through the Rowing and Canoeing High Performance Centre of Pocinho, was present at the Closing Session of the Project for the Internationalization of the Portuguese Network of High Performance Sports Centres in Rio Maior.
During the morning, the "Institutional Closure Session of the Project" was attended by the Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues and the Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, João Paulo Rebelo, and many invited guests, international experts in the management and international promotion of High Performance Centers (HPSC), as well as nationally renowned Olympic athletes such as Rosa Mota, Susana Feitor and Inês Rodrigues. Throughout the morning, in several communications, some CAR officials intervened, addressing future strategies for the international promotion and dissemination process.
In the afternoon the "Public Presentation of Results" was held to disseminate the resources resulting from the project. This session was stimulated by expert consultants of the companies that developed the services awarded, which presented the results and the respective means, thus contributing to the dissemination of the internationalization strategy of the HPSC network.
It is recalled that the HPSC of Pocinho was actively involved with the Sports Foundation in the INTERNATIONALIZATION PROJECT OF THE NATIONAL NETWORK OF HPSC of PORTUGAL | HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORTS CENTERS OF PORTUGAL, in order to promote internationally together of 10 reference markets: Germany, Angola, Australia, Brazil, China, France, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Russia and Sweden.
