From December 9 to 20, 2019, Norway's elite national team trained at High-Performance Rowing Center. This group of athletes is formed by senior rowers with high international standards and who have obtained Olympic qualifications in recent years. The Norwegian team chose HPRC as the 3-stage logistics center (2019/2020 season) for the preparation of the forthcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Johan Lidberg, coach of the Norwegian Rowing Federation considered this first stage success, given the innovative characteristics of the indoor training center, the exceptional conditions of the water plane and the welcome provided by HPRC.
The next stage starts on January 25th, raising the number of rowers, leading to more rowing medals, in addition to the 16 already won.
